Fibre Provision over Octotel Infrastructure

Cape Connect Internet has partnered with Octotel to provide Cape Connect service over the Octotel network. Please see their fibre cover maps here.

Coverage areas are theoretic and depend on existing infrastructure availability and demand.

NOTE: pricing for our fibre products over a third party infrastructure differs from pricing over our own fibre.

All services are supplied with a static, public IPv4 address and a block of IPv6 addresses

We offer two router options with this service:

• We provide you with PPPoE details. You supply, programme and manage your own compatible router. We will be able to provide only limited support with this option.
• We quote for a router that you purchase, based on line speed applied for.

NOTE:

A full calendar month's notice of termination is required to ensure sufficent time to release your fibre line on both Cape Connect and Octotel systems. Any cancellations received from the first of a month onwards will be implemented only at the end of the following month, with associated billing. Any cancellation penalty imposed by Openserve will be passed on to the client.

A standard activation fee of R995 applies to all packages, irrespective of contract period.

A deposit of first and last month's subs is required on application for this service.
